Low-sodium white fused alumina is a premium corundum material produced from high-purity alumina powder through an optimized electric fusion process with strict control of sodium content. While maintaining the inherent advantages of white fused alumina—such as high hardness, high purity, strong self-sharpening ability, and excellent grinding performance—it significantly reduces Na2O content. This reduction improves high-temperature resistance and thermal stability, minimizing phase transformation and volume instability at elevated temperatures. The low-sodium characteristic enables better corrosion resistance and longer service life in high-temperature environments, making it particularly suitable for high-grade refractory materials, electronic ceramics, precision casting, and high-performance abrasive tools. In addition, the material exhibits strong chemical stability and excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, and is widely used in metallurgy, ceramics, and advanced functional materials industries.
