In response to the subtle changes in the bauxite raw material market caused by the downturn of the aluminum industry, the increasing investment of some capital in mining production and processing, and the many difficulties in comprehensive utilization, in order to achieve scientific and orderly development, energy conservation and environmental protection, and reduce errors, the Three Provinces Association agreed to create a platform for timely communication and exchange in the mining and processing of high alumina raw materials, learn from each other, strengthen scientific research connections with mines, enterprises, and universities, timely reflect the industry's situation and suggestions to relevant government departments, and guide the healthy and orderly development of high alumina raw material mining and processing enterprises.

The attendees believed that: ⑴ The situation of high alumina bauxite raw materials varies from place to place, with many types that may seem simple but actually differ greatly. It is necessary to conduct some basic research, analysis, and summarization of their properties, and to sort out some relatively clear mineral sites to form a database to guide enterprise production and investment. The workload is large and involves a wide range of aspects, requiring the joint participation of the government, enterprises, industries, and relevant experts to complete. ⑵ In view of the lack of resource allocation in most enterprises that produce bauxite raw materials, resulting in non-standard, unplanned, and underutilized mines, it is recommended that the government allocate resources to large-scale aluminum silicon refractory material enterprises. After owning mines, enterprises should process them according to different grades to make full use of resources and improve utilization rates. ⑶ Raw material and product enterprises should cooperate closely, with guidance and guidance from the government and industry. Raw material production should be scaled up, overcapacity should be avoided, excessive investment should not be repeated, production should not be amplified, and total quantity control should be implemented to prevent a new round of vicious competition. In terms of the application of high alumina bauxite, Henan, Shandong, Zhejiang, Beijing and other places have more experience in deep processing of raw material products. At the same time, the platform also strengthens communication and exchange with refractory industry associations in Shandong, Zhejiang and other places. Under the guidance of the China Refractory Industry Association and with the technical support of relevant experts, we will jointly do a good job in the application of different grades of raw materials.

The conference organized a visit to Shanxi Duoer Company, and General Manager Li Yongquan gave a detailed introduction to the company's situation. The production line for the first phase of the project has been completed and is currently undergoing equipment debugging. The second phase of the project is also gradually starting construction.
