Hunan region: As is well known, Chenzhou region in Hunan is the largest supplier of graphite in the country, occupying most of the domestic market with its abundant mineral reserves and stable quality. Southern Graphite Company has absolute say in the Chenzhou area and is more proactive in market expansion. Therefore, in recent years, except for Southern Graphite, the production of other graphite enterprises in Chenzhou area has been gradually decreasing.

Inner Mongolia region: Inner Mongolia also has abundant soil like graphite resources, but the ore content and indicators are lower than other regions. At present, processing enterprises mainly focus on content below 70, and high carbon graphite is basically not involved. There are two reasons: firstly, the raw ore content is relatively low, and the cost of selecting high content ores is relatively high. Taking 80% content as an example, skilled professional workers need ten days to select one ton of ore, and the labor cost is too high. Secondly, the market is sluggish, and even for fixed customers, there is still a phenomenon of reduced usage.

Northeast region: Some enterprises in Jilin use local soil graphite raw ore for processing and production, with products mainly containing carbon content below 50. High content products all use imported North Korean ore, but due to the cold weather, production has also decreased.

This month, the mainstream market price for 75% and 200 mesh graphite in Hunan region is between 1400-1750 yuan/ton; The mainstream market price for 80%, 200 mesh soil graphite is between 1500-1900 yuan/ton.
