Alpha-alumina powder and micro powder are produced from alumina and aluminum hydroxide through high-temperature calcination in a tunnel kiln, followed by grinding and classification. The product is characterized by high purity, high conversion rate of α-Al₂O₃ , high true density, stable crystal structure, narrow particle size distribution, and good dispersibility.
Alpha-alumina (α-Al₂O₃) is widely used in ceramics, electrical porcelain, refractory materials, spark plugs, catalyst supports, fillers for glass insulators, advanced insulating components, high-purity refractory fibers, and epoxy resin casting and filling applications.
