Calcium aluminate cement CA50 is produced using bauxite and limestone as the main raw materials. These materials are proportioned to prepare a raw mix, which is then calcined to form clinker with calcium aluminate as the primary mineral composition. The clinker is subsequently ground into a hydraulic cementitious material with hydraulic properties.
The main mineral phases of CA50 series calcium aluminate cement are monocalcium aluminate (CA) and dicalcium aluminate (CA₂). It is an essential binder used in the production of high-, medium-, and low-grade monolithic refractory materials.Due to its excellent physical and chemical properties, CA50 cement is widely applied in metallurgy, building materials, petrochemical industry, power plants, boilers, and various industrial furnace sectors.
