Low Sodium Alumina Bubble is a lightweight hollow spherical material produced from high-purity alumina through a high-temperature electric melting and blowing process. By optimizing the manufacturing process, the Na₂O content is significantly reduced.
It features low bulk density, high mechanical strength, excellent high-temperature resistance, and superior thermal stability. The low-sodium characteristic effectively reduces the formation of glassy phases at elevated temperatures, thereby enhancing the material’s thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance. During high-temperature service, it maintains structural integrity with minimal deformation and strong volume stability, which helps extend the service life of refractory products.
This product is widely used in lightweight insulation layers of high-temperature furnaces, high-grade refractory castables, insulating bricks, and electronic ceramics. It offers both excellent thermal insulation performance and chemical stability, with strong resistance to acid and alkali corrosion. It is an important functional material in metallurgy, ceramics, and various high-temperature industrial applications.
